Biography:

Since I graduated in Physics Science at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2002), my research activity has been focused on the field of Nanomagnetism. In my pre-doctoral studies at the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM-CSIC, Spain), I worked on the fabrication and characteriazation of ferromagnetic nanowire and antidot arrays using anodic alumina templates. After I got my Ph. D in Physics Science at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2006), I moved to the Material Science and Engineering Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, EEUU). I studied ferromagnetic nanostructures prepared by lithographic and sputtering techniques. In June 2009, I joined the Spectroscopy Group at Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU, Spain) for the set up and improvement of a laboratory for the fabrication and characterization of magnetic nanostructures.

Due to my research activity, I have acquired experience in the fabrication of nanostructures by different methods, since self-assembled (anodization and polymerization processes) to top-down techniques (lithographic and sputtering processes), and the characterization of their related magnetic properties.
