Pedro Rocha-Rodrigues PhD Student

Multifunctional Magnetic Materials and Nanostructures
Pedro is a PhD student whose research focus on the study of multiferroic materials by using Perturbed Angular Correlation spectroscopy. This hyperfine characterization technique, with very intriguing physics on its own, allows to unravel, with extremely high sensitivity, any structural/electromagnetic changes that may occur within the crystal structure of these functional multiferroic materials.

Research Topics: Naturally Layered Perovskites, Local Probe Studies, Multiferroic Materials.
